Here at Chrome City, we pride ourselves in having ultra-creative and inspiring homies throughout the Chicago area. Each week, the Chrome Chronicle (our news outlet) will share a little bit about these incredible people and why we are excited to feature them as our #ChromeHomie.
Let us introduce our Homie, Jeremy.
Jeremy Rothschild of Evening Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago
Q: What is the Evening Associates Board?
A: The Evening Associates Board is a diverse group of young, art-inspired professionals, innovators, and philanthropists committed to increasing: Evening Associates membership, young professional awareness of the Art Institute, and museum resources by raising funds for audience development programming.
Q: What inspires or motivates you?
A: I'm inspired to dedicate my time to the Evening Associates as I believe that all cultural institutions are at a critical turning point in their existence. The next generation of culture aficionados, (whether it be art, classical music, opera, ballet, or theater) needs to be cultivated now to ensure a lasting legacy of audiences and patronage for the decades and even centuries to come.
Q: What is your creative process?
A: Personally I find that the process is different for each project. However, I find that I am most inspired when I immerse myself in new spaces/environments either through travel or by visiting local locations / attending events.
Q: What is your favorite part about this city?
A: I love the vibrancy of Chicago in the summer time.
Thanks for being a Chrome Homie, Jeremy!
