One of Chrome City’s three main values is connectivity, and news broadcasting is one of the absolute best ways to give a comprehensive, connective experience from businesses to viewers. Over the past two years, Chrome City has had the pleasure of working on TV segments for multiple clients with multiple outlets. The positive, fast-paced energy at these studios is undeniable. Here are a few of our favorite segments thus far:
David Flom from Chicago Cut Steakhouse: Windy City Live
Chrome City’s first client, Chicago Cut Steakhouse, had the opportunity to work with the wonderful producers over at Windy City Live for a segment about steak preparations, wine pairings, and how to make a killer date night at home. The river front restaurant, co-owned by Matt Moore, is the only restaurant in Chicago to serve 100% USDA prime steaks. Their newest venture, Ocean Cut, opened last week in River North, so now we can expect the best in seafood as well!
April Francis from Love Dose: You and Me This Morning
Chrome Homie, April Francis, has been a marketplace maven, heading up over 50 of her Dose Market events in the city over the past five years. This WCIU segment explored the different vendors that were at her Love Dose event on Valentine’s Day and offered some tips and tricks for how to find the perfect gifts for any loved one
Preston Jones from Canvas’ Voyager: New Year’s Eve Live, ABC7
Canvas’ New Year’s Eve event, Voyager, was featured at Moonlight Studios as one of the top four New Year’s Eve venues for ABC’s countdown. The segment was viewed by nearly 2 million people and featured live clips from the event. Voyager incorporated a full-sensory experience with projection-mapping techniques, a DJ, art galleries, and much more. Stay tuned for this year’s Canvas event, Subchroma, happening in September!
Brad Zibung from Next Year Day: WGN 2015
This year’s Next Year Day (at HVAC Pub) was a total success with Old Style as our official sponsor. Check out this WGN On the Town segment from last year where Chrome City interns modeled fresh Chicago Cubs looks from Clark Street Sports.
