Hair Envy

Celebs may be the people we look to for hair inspiration, but Anna Jackson of Maxine Salon gives Chrome City the lowdown on current hair trends happening right now. According to Anna, hair is having a “one-length” moment with bobs and lobs being a huge trend that doesn't look like it's going anywhere. Loose braids are also here to stay through the end of summer, Anna says “making them just a little more textured and pulled apart will help you achieve the messy, yet stylish look.” Taking Anna’s professional advice we sought out to find our favorite celebrity hairstyles of the moment.

As a hairstylist to dozens of A-List celebrities, Riawna Capri of Nine Zero One Salon is best friends with many of her clients including Nina Dobrev, Julianne Hough, and Vanessa Hudgens. We love her effortless lob and messy, beach-like waves which is a style she has perfected to a T.

Another celeb whose hair we can’t get enough of is Chicago P.D.’s star, Sophia Bush. Sporting a trendy bob with loose waves, Sophia’s hair always looks fabulous. The all over ombre color is another thing we love and the range of colors give her hair a sophisticated depth while staying edgy and cool.

Internationally known fashion blogger and L'Oreal ambassador, Kristina Bazan, is rocking some edgy yet stylish wispy bangs with her new darker color. Her long locks go perfectly with her choppy bangs and the dark, chocolate color is perfect for fall.

As the reigning queen of ever-changing hairstyles, Rihanna is always one to watch. She has proven that she can pull off any color, cut, and style in the books, but we are really loving her current chic bob and versatile bangs.

“If I could give everyone one piece of advice, I would say to never go against your natural texture,” Anna told Chrome City. “If you try you will be fighting a losing battle.” We will definitely keep that in mind for our next appointment!
