October 17th - 23rd: Ideas Week
"When a broad spectrum of thinkers and instigators share ideas, we have the power to transform our world." That was the idea that sparked Ideas Week Chicago, a week long conference covering topics of conversation on everything from education and entrepreneurship to politics and health. For only $15 you can get in on this thought-provoking (literally) event being held at Daley Plaza. In the past speakers have included former president Bill Clinton, filmmaker George Lucas, Major Rahm Emanuel, and rapper Common. This year's event begins Monday, October 17th and spans until Sunday, October 23rd.
