#ChromeClient: Stock Mfg. Co.

April 19, 2017

One of Chrome City’s newest clients, Stock Mfg Co. is shaking up the service industry with American-Made clothing manufactured right here in Chicago. With the simple mission to provide premium menswear for the lowest possible price, Stock prides themselves on “making the best damn shirt you’ve ever worn” while fostering an environment of collaboration and transparency second to none in the industry.

Voted one of TimeOut Chicago's "Best Men's Stores in Chicago", Stock Mfg Co. does all sourcing, design, development, and production in their factory on the city’s West Side, eliminating markups every step of the way. The menswear brand doubles as the go-to manufacturing business for top Chicago restaurants and hotels such as Boka's GT Prime, One Off Hospitality's Publican Anker, and SoHo House with uniforms that are increasingly starting to emulate modern street style.

At Chrome City, we always have eyes on Chicago’s creative community and the startup grabbed our attention not only for their stylizing of the service industry, but their city wide collaborations. Gaining national recognition for their work with brands like Miller High Life, Stock is creating a space for design students to thrive in the Midwest rather than fleeing to the coasts. By sourcing local talent from Columbia College - which has some of the most progressive and creative minds in the industry today - Stock Mfg. Co. has allowed for these young designers the opportunity to hone their skills and become an avid part of an emerging brand.

From Stock’s roots on Kickstarter to their warehouse site in our backyard, Chrome City is excited to work with a company that has revolutionized the manufacturing culture of our city’s past and made way for modern, innovative strategies of thinking and communicating with creatives and consumers alike.

Happy to have you as one of our #ChromeClients, Stock Mfg Co.!
