60's Throwback #ChromeCut

The #ChromeCrew is all about that weekday hustle. We're creative, dedicated, and always looking for inspiration to help us get shit done. Whether it's Kendrick (Anthony can't get enough) or Mac Demarco (Becky's guilty pleasure), we're always vibing to some music as we go about our days and this week, we've decided to throw it way back! <<< The Zombies-“She’s Not There”  
The debut single from The Zombies put them on the charts in both the U.K. and the U.S. and Rolling Stone magazine ranked the hit number 297 on its list of the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. One of the jazzier songs one the album, The Zombies kill it with they keys and some gauzy vocals. 

 

 

 

  

 

The Mamas & The Papas-

"California Dreamin'" >>>

And ode to the Cali sunshine, "California Dreamin'" was released as a single by the folk rock vocal group The Mamas & The Papas in 1965. The hit was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2001 and has since been re-recorded by hot artists across the decades such as The Beach Boys, R.E.M., and The Carpenters. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

<<< The Doors- "Back Door Man" 

Originally a blues song by Wille Dixon, The Doors recorded a rock version of "Back Door Man" on their debut album in 1967.  The Doors' drummer John Densmore once described it in an interview as "deeply sexual and got everyone moving."
