Grand Opening of The Darling

Randolph Row is about to be hit with a new nightlife hotspot! Former Won Fun/2Fun space is being transformed into an exclusive restaurant space with magic and burlesque acts, themed cocktails, and food prepared by local chef James Martin. Sophie Huterstein, owner of the Wellesbourne restaurant/lounge LA, bought out both floors next to Italian sandwich shop J.P. Graziano, to transform and make The Darling come alive. Guests will enter The Darling through a secret entrance, a flower shop where they will then be handed a flower corresponding to their table. James Martin has prepared two decadent menus for each floor. The first-floor menu will consist of flavorful bites such as shrimp toast with saffron, cherry peppers and garlic on brioche and crispy sweetbreads with remoulade and pickled green tomatoes on soft French rolls. Upstairs, larger groups can order shareable plates and boards. The second-floor menu features items such as beer-poached sausages accompanied by pretzels and cornichons and a seafood charcuterie platter with smoked mussels. This is one opening in the West Loop you will want to check out! Open to the public November 16th.
