For WOMANISH, a Chicago-based movement that explores expressions of identity and perspectives through visual and physical experiences produced by womxn with an experiential exhibit launching spring 2020, team Chrome City was tasked with curating leadup activations that would set the stage for the upcoming exhibit and engage a community of interest for WOMANISH.
In collaboration with WOMANISH’s creative director, Chrome City coordinated a kickoff event to introduce the Chicago market to the movement and the womxn behind it. Next, Chrome City curated a series of themed speaker panels to fuel conversations around WOMANISH in a timely manner, as well as spearheading all public relations on behalf of the movement and exhibit, and contributing to the programming ideation and execution for the March 2020 exhibit.
